My Inner Geek

This weekend has been devoted to indulging my Inner Geek.

I followed a Twitter recommendation and wound up discovering LittleSnapper and its "sibling" Ember, both wonderful and already put to use.  Then I decided to give Ulysses a spin.  You see, having become a fairly recent convert to Mac I have been in rather dire need of "Mac centric" programs and services such as I used to employ [and enjoy] with my Windows based platform.

I finally discovered the true elegance of bit.ly when it is integrated with a Twitter account.

I killed an entire night exploring the possibilities of my LiveJournal and WIndowsLive pages that I had created quite some time ago as "place holders" to reserve my name on those social media outlets.  Don't know if I will actually really do anything with them, but perhaps.  They're free so what the heck.  That said, WindowsLive Spaces is a lot more "engaging" for me than LiveJournal, which sorta strikes me as a dead fish.

In among all of that I did manage to do a bit of reading and housekeeping, but probably not enough.  All in all, I'm still trying to break through the fog of reticence that has cocooned me of late.  So not like me, at least the "cyber" side of me.
