I finally got around to dressing up MPM a bit, sorta giving it a new set of clothes.
What I’ve done so far:
- Created a banner image out of the beautiful marsh photograph located in my footer, then uploaded it for my custom header.
- Moved my navigation bar from above the header image to below the header, and then colorized the tabs in a complimentary color to my header.
- Created a custom color background, the color a lighter shade of the marsh grass.
- Colorized the sidebars with a pale shade of the background color.
- Installed a digital signature for my posts.
- Created a custom footer.
- Last, I changed the media box from rotating images to a single image, a silhouetted egret in a marsh at sunset.
My writing has taken a bit of an unplanned break because I’ve been on some pretty heavy pain killers since Friday and my thought processes are questionable at best. Since I can’t write at this time I figured I could still manage a small amount of “Blog productivity”.

Hm. I hate to say this–because it’s very pretty!–but in Firefox, the egret & sidebar stuff is down below the comment box!
I think one of your columns may be too wide.
Hope you’re feeling better soon!
How odd! In my Firefox it’s perfect.
On PandemicChronicle I had a similar issue when I first started to tweak it.. only it was in IE. It was because of my computer, not the site, but I don’t remember what I had to do to clear the it up. Perhaps clear the cashe < ?>, but I honestly don’t remember.
Thanks for letting me know!!
